Micronesia, officially known as the Federated States of Micronesia (FSM), is a sovereign island nation located in the western Pacific Ocean. Comprising over 600 islands spread across the Caroline Islands archipelago, the country is divided into four states: Yap, Chuuk, Pohnpei, and Kosrae.
